Product description
The RMCi8 is a compact control and display panel for controlling the EDCi devices. It has 16 freely assignable buttons, a digital potentiometer (DigiPot), an integrated emergency stop button and a TFT colour touchscreen (480 × 272 pixels). Status LEDs indicating the operating states are also incorporated.
Communication takes place via an RS485 interface using the internal EDCi protocol. The power supply is +24 VDC.
The back of the device features a magnetic film that enables it to be flexibly attached directly to the testing machine.
On delivery, the device comes with a shielded connection cable (M12–M12, 3 m long) for connecting the RMCi.
