The iDCA is an expansion module with a DC power supply, which captures analog signals and is specially designed for strain gauges. Internal signal conditioning takes place via a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter.
The input range can be changed by adjusting the gain and covers ±5 mV to ±10 V. The supply voltage for the connected sensor is 10 VDC.
The intelligent sensor plug SGS enables automatic sensor detection for analog transducers with output signals from 1, 2, 4 or 8 to 640 mV/V and for sensor signals ranging from 1 to 10 V.
The module achieves a signal-to-noise ratio of 91 dB at a filter time of 1 ms and has a temperature drift of 10 ppm/K.
