The EDC controller can be used flexibly – either as an autonomous standalone solution or as a machine control interface in combination with a PC.
Standalone mode:

Note: Standalone mode is not available for the EDCi10 model.
Standalone mode:
In this mode, the software is integrated directly in the EDC. Soft, Hard and Concrete tests are included free of charge.
New features such as Cycle test, “External setpoint” test and Creep test can be enabled using additional software licences.
PC mode:
The high-performance Test&Motion testing software (not a DOLI product) is used in connection with a PC. It offers user-friendly operation, extensive analysis options and the full integration of all EDC functions.

Our focus: Design engineers can use their own PC programs or higher-level control systems for communication with the EDC, using the DoPE interface (API), for example.
