The DoPE (DOLI Programming Environment) interface is the application programming interface (API) for EDC controllers from DOLI. It enables the software to control and scan all the functions of the EDCi, and to incorporate them in the customer’s own applications.

Range of features

DoPE gives you direct access to:

• Motion commands (e.g. starting, stopping, positioning)
• Sensor data (readings in real time)
• Controller parameters (configuration and optimisation)
• Digital I/Os (monitoring and controlling inputs/outputs)

Areas of application

The interface is already successfully used in:

• Installation Center (Test Center Light)
• Test&Motion Plus

Here, the most important DoPE commands are directly integrated as operator functions.
In addition, design engineers can use their own PC programs or higher-level control systems for communication with the EDC.
