iCFA

The iCFA is an expansion module with a DC power supply, which captures analog signals and is specially designed for strain gauges. Internal signal conditioning takes place via a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter.

The input range can be adapted by adjusting the gain and covers ±5 mV to ±10 V. The sensor can be powered with 0.9 or 7 VAC (effective, 5 kHz) or by 1.25 or 10 VDC, depending on the type of sensor.The intelligent sensor plug SGS enables automatic sensor detection for:

LVDT and inductive transducers with output signals from 4 to 640 mV/V

Analog strain gauge transducers with 1, 2, 4, 8 to 640 mV/V

Analog signals in the range of 1 to 10 V

The module achieves a signal-to-noise ratio of 96 dB at a filter time of 1 ms and has a temperature drift of 4 ppm/K.
